Gallery: CSULB School of Art, Merlino Gallery
Krystal Ramirez is currently attending CSULB, but will be graduating soon as this is her last semester. She attended an art high school and this is where her love for art started off. She was very interested in jewelry making and pursued her love for it as time went by.
This exhibit shows many hand made tools that could be used at a dinner table. The detail is each and every tool is so fine, it shows that Ramirez put in more than a night’s work in it. The colors used are very subtle, but the items placed on the plate grab your attention because the plates and the table remain one color, while the others have different types of color.
I liked how this exhibit was very simple but it showed that a lot of work was put into it. The plate ware was all the same, which was very helpful because the items on top of the plates proceeded to attract the most attention from the whole exhibit. I like how this exhibit was based on her life with her family. All of the small details showed that Krystal is a very detailed person when it comes to art.
